Gracias.

This trip was better than expected. Franklin’s knowledge of every aspect of the Inca Trail was impressive. He never missed a chance to teach us about history, local customs and courtesies, geology, fauna, and current efforts to preserve Inca Culture. He made this trip exceptional! I will always recommend AMARUTREK EXPEDITIONS! Meals while hiking exceeded expectations. Other hikers even commented when they saw our meals that theirs’ didn’t come close.

Peru Trip
July 22 2011
Dear elsa
We booked the trip for my parents in law which don`t speak a word spanish. The trip was professionally organized and my parents in law enjoyed the trip very much. The hotels, the local food and the transportation were perfect. Your German speaking tour guide was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and with perfect German speaking skills.
My father in law had a health problem and you helped him to get all the necessary help and the communication with the local health provided. In addition you kept me up to date via email regarding the situation. Thank you very much for your outstanding service.
I will recommend your professional and friendly services to my friends and I would not hesitate to consider your service for my next trip to Peru.
Thank you very much.

“Totally incredible!!!!!”
INCA TRAIL TO MACHU PCCHU
My wife, brother-in-law and I walked the Inca Trail with Condor Travel. The experience, service and logistics could not have been improved - absolutely first class.
Our guide (Manuel) met us at the hotel in Cusco the night before we were due to start our trek to advise us on last-minute arrangements. Little did we know that he would become a great friend as well as a guide during our trek - a fantastic guy who went out of his way to make this a special experience throughout.
The walk is just breathtaking but was enhanced by the exceptional service that we received from Ivan and his team of porters. We were lucky to walk on our own and so felt rather pampered with the personal attention we received fron the team.
The food each day exceeded our expectations (thank you Marcus), the facilities at the campsites were way more than we had planned for and overall the walk was turned in to a brilliant experience by the Condor team. We had expected (and would have been quite happy) to experience a superb walk with very basic conditions - we were overwhelmed by the service and facilities actually provided (all of which had to be carried by the 'never-complaining' porters.
They should all be proud to be delivering such a fantastic service in tricky conditions.
As for the trek - you just have to do it!!!! You need to be fairly fit but if my slightly heavy set, smoking, drinking brother-in-law can do it, so can you (sorry David!!).
thanks AMARUTREK EXPEDITIONS...

Reviews of choquequirao to machu picchu We had an excellent time on our trek to Choquequirao to Machu Picchu with Amarutrek Expeditions. http://www.amarutrekexpeditions.net / There are so many different tour operators to choose from, we felt really fortunate that we made the right choice! The price was very reasonable, especially considering there were only two of us on the trek, and it was still about the same price as large group treks with other companies. We were picked up from the airport, and they even helped us book a hostel that was in our price range after we arrived in Cusco. Very helpful when you are jet lagged after a long flight. Before we left for our trek we were able to meet our guide and he briefed us on the adventure we had in store for us so we knew what to expect. The whole process was very organized, including the transportation, making it easy to just enjoy the experience without having to deal with the nuances. The trek itself was absolutely amazing. The scenery was breathtaking and we saw very few tourists on the trail for the first 6 days. Choquequirao is so great because you actually can walk around and explore it without being bombarded by a million tourists. The ruins are so large that you can actually walk around without bumping into many people at all giving you time to truly enjoy it, and at your own pace. We were really pleased that we chose this trek because you really have time to enjoy the granduer of the Andes and see how people live in the mountains of Peru. It truly is a beautiful place. Hmmm, what else can I rave about? Oh yeah, the food! Seriously, we were truly impressed. We are vegetarians, and a lot of times vegetarian food in S. America can be rather bland. This was definitely not the case with Quechuas. We had amazing meals three times a day, including snacks while we were walking and tea time prior to dinner every night. The equipment was also great. The tent was nice and big enough for us and all of our stuff. We definitely experienced every kind of weather while we were on the trek, including torrential downpours and freezing temperatures and we slept great every night. Last but not least, our guide Percy was fantastic. It was basically like we were hiking with a buddy, except he knew EVERYTHING. We had a great time talking and joking, but he also told us interesting things around every turn. He knew about the mountains, flora, fauna, history, archeology…….you name it. I definitely recommend this trek and this company. You will have the adventure of a lifetime that you will not forget! Portland, Oregon USA — Emily choseem

Amazon Trip
Just a quick note to let you know what a terrific time we had on the Manu biotrip. Our guide Percy did a terrific job and we had lots of fun and saw lots of animals, particularly monkeys. I even got to see a sloth, although it was rather far away. So thanks for arranging everything so beautifully and I will definitely recommend AMARUTREK EXPEDITIONS for people planning to on a trip to the Amazon.
Best regards,

Jose Antonio was great, the best guide I ever had: He took care of everybody, he hada huge knowledge about history and culture of the Inkas and Machu Picchu, as well as landscapes, flowers and fauna amazing. Elias and Juvenal were really friendly very talented. Great Cooks, they responded to my vegetarian needs. Porters were absolutely lovely and very friendly. Great to get in touch with them during the trip. Tents were spacious and comfortable. We stayed dry despite of a lot of rain. Great to have a tent to eat and be together. Food was delicious and very, very much. (too much I’d say). I got vegetarian food and it was amazing and very creative. Transport and transfer was fine. Antonio was very helpful with changing the train ticket. The atmosphere between the staff was really good. Thank you very much for the good trip.
