Oruro , more than just a carnival!!
Hello, I’m Martin, this month I’ve come to Bolivia , especially to Oruro . Yesterday I was walking looking for tourist information, and you know what?. I found it, thanks to an informants group from “Tourist Information HERE”. They gave me the best reference for tourism places in Oruro and in Bolivia . They helped me to plan my next trips around Bolivia . The best of all is that they are recommended for TRIPADVISOR.COM.
I discovered that Oruro it’s not just about the Magical Carnival, but it is much more than that. After an exchange of information, maps, times and distances; I discovered that: Oruro has the biggest second salt lake of the world, which is “KOIPASA”. It also counts with the best archeological complex found in the Alcaya community known for the French as the “little Machu Picchu of the High Lands”. This place shelters a stadium size meteor crater. It also counts with polychromatic funerary constructions in Sacabaya, Macaya and Julo called Lauca River Ecotourism. It has enigmatic landscapes in the Sajama National Park , which counts with llama heads carved in stone a long time ago. Its pottery has the most beautiful iconographic high lands decoration .

Well I hope that with these facts you can also discover the wonders of Oruro .
Later I will tell you how do I get to Uyuni, because these informers have an office there, so I feel relax and safe, because I ‘m sure I’ll find them.

PD. An advice: if you go to Oruro , not only think that it only has its wonderful carnival. ¡¡Oruro is much more than just a carnival.....!!!!
