Il Colto  

Il Colto is a recently renovated farmhouse with private PARKING. Its estate covers a hectare of land beneath the city walls of San Gimignano. The farmhouse is located just 150 meters from Porta san Giovanni , below Piazza Martiri di Montemaggio. It offers its guests a spectacular and delightful view of try picturesque mediaeval town and the Tuscan contryside , dominated by beautiful olive groves and vineyards. Here you can enjoy the old town without the inconvenience of needing a car to get around, except when wanting to visit the nearby cities.Outside the farmhouse there is a garden and loggia. This is where we serve breakfast during the summer, and where you can relax, enjoy the sun and admire San Gimignano, with its beautiful towers, while savouring excellent Colli Senesi Chianti wine, extra virgin olive oil and our raisin wine " Vin Santo del Nonno" , all produced by us in keeping with tradition and with the utmost respect for nature. Next to the farmhouse stands the owner's house, built around the end of 1800, and the working farm which has been there for the past 70 years.
